Unique artwork description: Intricately detailed ceramic tile made from a mold of a petroglyph carved into a rock which is located in Phippsburg, Maine. The tile adorns a deep sea green hue which help capture eloquently the essence of the rock. It has a matte finish and successful petroglyph transfer.

This piece was made on 2024-12-03, and it is made from Sudeith's petroglyph number # 49, titled Wild Bird Petroglyph at Center Pond Preserve in Phippsburg, Maine

The material from which this piece is made is Clay: Cone 6 Slip casting stoneware which is White stoneware used at Power House Arts in 2023, and the colors are Slip with Cone 6 glaze

This unique artwork is a 2 pc mold slip cast type which means Hollow part is made by having two part mold where slip fills the void and is poured off.
