Impression description: Gemini 7 was a manned space mission in late 1965. Gemini 6 and 7 succeeded in being the first vehicles to dock in orbit. This image shows Gemini 7 from Gemini 6 as the two vehicles prepared to dock.

DETAILS:
The paper is Shinramine MMS which is Maybe too hard to accept impression. Accepts in reluctantly. Very slight lime green tint. Rice paper but stiff and hard. Opaque and cloudy Stiff before wetting, and more pliable after. Distinct smooth and textured (parchment) sides of paper wet or dry, and the colors are the best quality artist's pigments only.
This impression is a Image only inked type which means the background is left blank while the image is inked. The process is a cross between intaglio and woodblock.
