Unique artwork description: Intricately detailed ceramic tile made from a mold of a petroglyph carved into a rock which is located in Phippsburg, Maine. The tile adorns a concentric ring in a rich turquoise color. This technique helps capture eloquently the essence of the rock. It has a glossy finish and successful petroglyph transfer. Equipped with 16 Ga. Aluminum wire hanging accomodations.

This piece was made on 2024-03-15, and it is made from Sudeith's petroglyph number # 50, titled Circle Petroglyph On McCay Preserve in Phippsburg, ME

The material from which this piece is made is Clay: Cone 6 Slip casting stoneware which is White stoneware used at Power House Arts in 2023, and the colors are Slip with Cone 6 glaze

This unique artwork is a Slip Cast type which means Liquid clay put into plaster mold
