A New Hope: Eagle Rock?

As of late today the best candidate for “Eagle Rock” is this shattered cliff. It is smooth, not wet with running water, and not covered in two inches of lovely green moss.
This wall is the terminal of the quarry. After three days hiking over 30 acres I’ve discovered the history of this man made landscape. Where once were fields or woods, now lies a ravine. The north side is a man made cliff. The south side slopes up along a tilted plate of sedimentary rock. The quarry is the shape of a long knife blade with a broken tip. This picture shows the flat broken tip. It has good acoustics, but is somewhat treacherous to access.
