T minus 5 days to departure. The mechanic is checking over the van, the backup hard drives are being copied, and my boots are at the cobler. The paper and pulp are stowed and the Persian rugs are loaded in the truck. Rugs shine most brightly by the campfire and feel warmest in the tent.
